More about Wendy McPherson

Professional Experience

Wendy B. McPherson, a Bay Area real estate veteran with over three decades of experience, is the former Branch Manager of two of the top producing offices in San Mateo County; Coldwell Banker El Camino, Menlo Park and Woodside/Portola Valley offices. As Branch Manager, Wendy oversees sales activity and general operations of the office. These offices are affiliated with over 150 independent sales professionals.

She affiliated with Coldwell Banker Northern California from Cornish and Carey, a prestigious South Bay real estate firm acquired by Coldwell Banker in 1997. While with Cornish and Carey, Wendy was consistently named among the top ten percent of sales professionals, was the Vice President and Branch Manager of the company’s Portola Valley office and was Senior Vice President and Manager of the Menlo Park office.

Professional Achievements

During her auspicious tenure as Branch Manager of the 2 central Peninsula offices, Wendy has gained a variety of impressive accolades including being one of the top offices in the state from 1999 to 2012 and being the highest gross earning office (for offices of equivalent size) in the National NRT Coldwell Banker Network.

Real estate agents affiliated with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage are independent contractor sales associates and are not employees of Coldwell Banker.

Professional Affiliations

Wendy holds the coveted CRB and CRS designations, is past president of the Menlo-Atherton Board of Realtors (1993) and has served on the Chair of Ethics Committee for the Board of Realtors (1992-1993).

She currently offers educational contract classes for Independent Agents that recently affiliated with the company.

She has also been actively involved in Planned Parenthood and has served for 8 years on The Housing Commission for the City of Menlo Park in the 1990s. She is currently serving, again, as a member of the Menlo Park Housing Commission.

Education

Wendy earned her bachelor’s degree in English Literature/Creative Writing from the University of Utah. Additionally, she has taken continuing education classes at Stanford in Coaching, Critical Thinking and other business related topics.

Personal Background

Born and raised in San Francisco, Wendy resides in Menlo Park. She enjoys adventure vacations - and having tracked Gorillas in Rawanda and swam with turtles in the Galapagos, she finds the natural selection process compellingly similar to success in real estate.
