Daniel Pizano Personal Biography

A true San Jose native, Daniel has lived in the Bay Area his entire life. Married to Lynn for 22 yrs he has two boys Nathan & Michael. He enjoys golfing, biking, & camping, and loves bay area sports.

He attended Mount Pleasant High School and played football. He credits his experience in team sports for keeping him out of trouble and teaching him the importance of working together towards a common goal.

After high school he attended DeAnza College in Cupertino, CA where he joined the student goverment. He represented DeAnza College in the 1988 National Student Leadership Conference held in Washington DC. During this trip students got a rare chance to tour the White House. Daniel stood only a few feet from then President Ronald Reagan's oval office desk. He went on to transfer to San Jose State University and graduate in 1991 with a BA degree.

Upon graduation he worked for non-profit organization MACSA & operated the Computer Literacy Program helping inner city kids learn about computers. Then he took a position with the YMCA as the Director of Multicultural Services for Santa Clara County. In addition to working in non-profit sector, he served a four-year term as a Commissioner on the Human Rights Commission for the city of San Jose.

Giving back to the community was great, however, he always dreamed of starting his own business. In 1996, he left the security of a steady paycheck and started an entertainment business. A Classy Affair Entertainment grew rapidly from only a few entertainers to a full service entertainment powerhouse with over 50 musicians, DJs and bands. The events included weddings and corporate events among other special occasions. Corporate clients included Microsoft, eBay, Cisco, HP, Sun Microsystems, and Google.

In 2005, Daniel began his real estate career with Coldwell Banker. In 2008, he was awarded Top 5% Coldwell Banker. In 2009 & 2010 he was awarded International Sterling Society. In 2013 he received his broker license.

4. By utiliuzing the latest technology available to me as a powerful competitive edge
5. By always maintaining the highest level of business ethics and honesty in everything I do

My Slogan

Your Friend and Resource in Real Estate!

My last name "Pizano" is taken from the word "Paisano" which in Italian means "friend from the same village or town."

I thought that I'd like to tie in m y last name into my slogan. So I thought of a slogan that had to do with the word "friend." I came up with "Your Friend in The Real Estate Business!"

However, something was missing. I knew that my clients where my friends but I thought, "would you give your business to a friend just because he or she is your friend?" I don't think so!

I think most people want a knowledgeable person who is a "go-getter" to be their Realtor. Someone who is resourceful and helpful and brings some value to the table. So I came up with "Your Friend and Resource in Real Estate!  : )
