As a real estate professional, I understand the true value of our community. I proudly support our local charitable organizations through my participation in Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Community Foundation. Our office is an award winning contributor to Habitat for Humanity for 2010-2012 and regularly participates in Habitat community builds.
Outside of the office I am an active member of Rotary International and Studio 33 Actors’ Collective. In I was President of Rotary Club of San Francisco West in 2012-13, I was the chair of the Mid San Francisco Peninsula Chapter of Marriage Equality USA, and have taught a real estate continuing studies course at Stanford University. I also enjoy spending time with my family including my partner, my son, daughter-in-law, and four grandchildren who live nearby.
Originally from Colorado, I moved to the Bay Area in 1966 as an undergraduate at the University of California, Berkeley where I earned a bachelor’s degree in English literature. I continued my education to earn a master’s degree in applied economics from the University of Hawaii as an East West Center Scholar and an MBA from Stanford University.
My business experience includes international consulting for the United Nations and the U.S. Agency for International Development in the Republic of Korea, Sri Lanka, Sierra Leone and Rome. Additionally, I was involved in an initial public offering as vice president of marketing at a biotechnology company, Escagenetics. I also had years of contract negotiation experience, including collective bargaining and intellectual property transfers both in biotechnology and as chief operating officer for Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of San Francisco.
