Personal Background

Alan enjoys many outdoor activities with his family including hiking and traveling. He has been a volunteer coach Los Altos/Mountain View PONY Baseball, El Camino YMCA basketball, and the Foothill Chapter of National Junior Basketball, and served as an adult leader in Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts. He has been a parent volunteer at Oak Elementary, Blach Middle, and Mountain View High Schools, and served as a Board Member of the MVLA High School Foundation.

Alan has 3 adult children and lives in Mountain View with his wife Valerie.
