While purchasing his own Hollywood Hills home, Gene Bush decided to become a realtor. Gene, a former stockbroker, says his time working on Wall Street prepared him for finding the right investments, negotiating and closing sales, and cultivating and maintaining relationships with clients and the other sides of deals. It is no surprise that Gene is now a Certified Negotiation Expert, a much sought-after credential.

Communication is one of the most important aspects of all client relationships says Gene, who holds a Bachelor's in economics from Syracuse University in his native New York. Gene provides honesty and candor. His clients respect that and feel at ease because of it. Gene knows that exaggerated advertising and promotion does not get deals done, and instead they can erode ultimate value for a seller. Similarly, Gene knows that a buyer’s bid needs to be thoughtfully crafted, particularly when there is competitive bidding.
