More about Lydia Vetere

Business Philosophy

I am passionate about integrity, commitment and finding out what you need! Open, honest communication combined with information based on facts is what I strive for. Each Client is very important to me and you should be treated "special". One of the things I value most, is being responsive. In today's hurry up world, we often forget to get back to people in a timely manner. This is one of my top priorities and it will avoid misunderstandings. If there is a misunderstanding or error, I will work to fix it as quickly as possible, without blame ,but rather through finding solutions.Listening to your needs and wants is key for us to successfully find, or sell your home! In a big decision such as buying or selling a home, it is important that we have an atmosphere of trust . I will look for ways to earn that trust, by communicating often in the manner you most prefer and answering your concerns as much as possible. Also following up and giving you status on any changes is another key element. In the end, I  want you to love the way Iwork, before, during and after Escrow.

Referrals are my life-line and if you are pleased with my results ,than it would mean everything to gain a personal referral from you!

Personal Background
I was born in Holland and speak Dutch. I come from a musical family, dad played bass & sang, brother plays drums, sisters sang and played Timbales. When we came to the United States, one of the first things (besides learning to speak English) was to form a band! My mom taught dance so we had quite a fun life growing up, full of music and dance.

I met a great man and am happily married and lo and behold he comes from a musical family as well! We are in a band together called TNT aka This 'N That (www.tntliveband.com) ! My brother has joined me also and we play around the bay area on a regular basis.

We are also members of the Altamont Cruisers Classic Car Club in Livermore. We have donated over $1,000,000 to local youth programs (anti-drug) and other charities. We are known as "Cruisers Against Drugs". We drive a 1956 Chevy named "BabyJNR".

I started with the local phone company when it was called Pacific Telephone! Worked as a "411" Operator, then became a Clerk , ran wires as a Frame Technician, promoted to Communications Tech, promoted to Manager, all this in Operations. I decided to change and transfer to Marketing and finally found out what we do for the "Customer"! I was an Account Executive with 500 clients, then promoted to the Winback Group and ultimately Retention. My final job before retiring was "Sales Coach".

I took some time off to travel to Israel, Europe and Vietnam. Then started my business as a Fashion Coordinator with a Company called "WEEKENDERS" Women's Clothing. They went belly-up in 2008 and I started working part-time for a Health Insurance Broker for 5 years . Work load dropped and I was laid off.

I have always loved looking at homes and enjoyed finding homes for myself and friends. This is why I decided to become a Realtor. I am excited to be following my passion of meaningful ways to impact people's lives. I am looking forward to making lots of people happy in their transition to or from a home while enjoying a new career. I hope you are one of them! Call me to see if we are a good fit...
