Professional Experience:
Mike Sokolsky has lived on and owned property on the San Francisco Peninsula for most of the last 20 years. Well versed in the Real Estate Market on the SF Peninsula and beyond, Mike has a unique perspective on serving his clients. He is a 20 year software development veteran, experienced with many aspects of software companies -- including the results they expect of their employees, and the resulting requirements those people have for their home purchase or sale. Mike uses this information to be especially sensitive to his client's needs.

Strategy -- Buyers:
When working with buyers, Mike's strategy is to examine all of their needs and financial abilities in great detail, and find the best home in the best location to balance each client's individual complex factors. Mike is regionally focused, rather then focused on a single neighborhood -- he maintains a solid grasp on all the communities from Burlingame and north to Sunnyvale, Cupertino and south. He understands micro-climates, commutes, town benefits, schools, geography and neighborhoods. He is very comfortable in all the small hill communities between the populated parts of the peninsula and the coast.
Mike strives to make the buying experience fun, by examining every potential property up front, so that his clients only see likely candidates.

Education:
Mike holds a BS in Computer Science from UC Santa Barbara College of Engineering (1985), and an MS in Computer Science from Columbia University School of Enginnering and Applied Sciences (1990). Mike earned his Real Estate Licence in 2003, and has been with Coldwell Banker since 2004. Mike earned a General Contractors License in 2006, and is the owner and principal of Webfoot Construction, a small construction company (see www.webfootc.com for more details).

Mike is an avid ultramarathon cyclist and runner, and loves cross country skiing, backpacking and mountaineering.
