Jo and her husband Joe Couch have lived in North Los Altos since 1976. They have 3 grown sons, 2 daughters, and 5 grandchildren all living in the Bay Area.

Jo holds a BA in Business from the University of Georgia. In 1984, Jo earned the prestigious Senior Marketing Consultant (SMC) designation, Grubb & Ellis' highest honor. She also has attained Lifetime Achievement Award status with the Los Altos Board of Realtors. Today, she holds Coldwell Banker's highest honor, international President's Premier. Top 1% of Coldwell Banker Nationwide. Consistently in Top 30 of all Coldwell Banker agents in Northern California.
