PALO ALTO, Calif. – April 2, 2012 – Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, the Bay Area's leading real estate services company, announced today that veteran Palo Alto Realtor Susie Dews ranked as one of the company's top agents on the Peninsula and nationwide for sales last year.
Dews was involved in more than $90 million in real estate sales in 2011, which ranked her among the top 10 agents for all of Northern California, outpacing more than 3,600 Coldwell Banker agents from Monterey to Lake Tahoe.
In addition, Dews finished in the top 1 percent of agents nationally and worldwide for Coldwell Banker, surpassing more than 87,000 sales associates in 49 countries for the world's largest real estate company.
A 30-year veteran Realtor and Previews International property specialist, Dews has consistently been among the top agents on the Peninsula and in Silicon Valley over the years. She specializes in the Palo Alto, Menlo Park, Atherton, Woodside and surrounding real estate markets.
“Susie is an outstanding real estate professional in every sense of the word, especially when it comes to luxury properties," said Rick Turley, president of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage. "She has earned a reputation for her integrity, professionalism, market knowledge and superior customer service. We're proud to have her on our team."
"When it comes to marketing exceptional properties or helping buyers find that perfect home, Susie is often the go-to Realtor on the Peninsula," said John Carman, manager of the Palo Alto Downtown office where Dews works. “She truly knows the high-end market better than just about anyone. We congratulate her on this well-deserved honor."
Dews was recognized for her accomplishments during a company ceremony last month at the Coldwell Banker Generation Blue Experience in New Orleans.
Dews began her career with Grubb & Ellis, a company that later was acquired by Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage. After a few years, her daughter, Shena Hurley, joined Dews and the two formed a dynamic real estate team.
In their time with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, Dews and Hurley have become one of the company’s top producing teams and have won several awards and commendations for their service and sales production, including the Coldwell Banker International President’s Premier Team Award in 2011, one of the company’s highest honors.
Active in the local real estate community, Dews is a longtime member of the National Association of Realtors, California Association of Realtors and Santa Clara County Association of Realtors.
