Kate Hamilton, is the Regional Vice President of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage’s San Francisco Bay Area working with Senior Vice President Mike James and President Rick Turley.  In her role, Hamilton helps oversee more than 3,000 agents and 46 company branch offices from the North Bay to the Monterey Peninsula.     

A highly respected and award-winning real estate professional, Hamilton enjoyed a successful 15-year career as a top-producing agent in Marin County before moving into the management ranks for Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage.  For the past three years, she has been overseeing a talented team of real estate professionals in Mill Valley, Belvedere and Sausalito.  In her time as managing broker, Hamilton helped double the size of the Southern Marin offices and in 2011, they ranked among the top 10 Coldwell Banker offices of their size nationwide for production.   

Throughout her career, Hamilton consistently ranked as a top producing agent for Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, winning many of the company’s most prestigious sales honors.  She has also been involved in key leadership roles with the Marin Association of Realtors, including being named incoming president for 2010.   

After graduating with honors from UCLA, Hamilton began her professional career in advertising.  She worked in Los Angeles for two of the top international advertising agencies – SSC&B and Grey Advertising – for 12 years, serving as vice president and account supervisor and overseeing multi-million dollar accounts.  She distinguished herself as one of the first female account executives at a major ad agency.   

Following her successful advertising career, Hamilton relocated to Marin County in 1988 where she parlayed her business and marketing skills into a vibrant real estate career.     

A nearly 25-year resident of Mill Valley, Hamilton is the parent of three adult children – Tom, Sally and Charles Hamilton.  In her spare time, she enjoys playing tennis, river rafting, hiking and running.
