Professional Experience

I am a Broker Associate and been in residential sales in the Mid Peninsula region since 1984, earning most top Coldwell Banker sales awards including International President's Elite, International Diamond Society, International Presidents Circle. Other real estate credentials include Previews Property Specialist, GRI (Graduate Realtors Institute) and SRES (Seniors Real Estate Specialist).  Prior to making the transition to real estate, I wrote curriculum and taught for many years.

Promoting hillside properties in the spectacular neighborhoods along the 280 corridor has become my particular goal, as these properties usually boast views, added privacy - a perspective belonging to our beautiful Bay Area.

Professional Philosophy

I believe in making the move enjoyable for my clients, whether buyers or sellers, while protecting and promoting their interests.  My goal is to have that move, or that new chapter in their lives, be an interesting and positive experience.  
My office, conveniently located near 280 in Woodside, is recognized for the marketing of unique properties, often properties with a rural feel.  I enjoy working with those who share that appreciation for hillside or country properties, and for those neighborhoods along the 280 corridor.

Education

Most of my formal education was obtained in my home state: my B.A. in English at the University of Idaho, and my M.A. in English at Idaho State University.  I enjoyed teaching and writing English curriculum for many years, prior to making the transition to real estate.
I find myself signing up regularly for Continuing Education classes offered through Stanford.  Perpetual student!  Those of us living in this area are so fortunate to have that opportunity.

Silicon Valley Association of Realtors, California Association of Realtors, National Association of Realtors, SRES (Senior Real Estate Specialists), GRI (Real Estate Institute Graduate). 
I was also a proud Project Read volunteer in the Redwood City Library.
