Professional Experience

Paul has sold Monterey Peninsula properties since 1986 and earned his real estate broker's license in 1988. His awards include Monterey Peninsula MLS Most Sales 1988, Office Top Producer 1989-1994, and International President's Elite.

Paul's wife Nellie has been a licensed salesperson and Paul's full-time working partner in residential sales since 1993. Paul and Nellie are local real estate columnists.  Their market analyses are published quarterly in The Carmel Pine Cone.

In Late 2004, Mark Ryan joined Nellie and Paul to form the powerful team of Paul, Nellie and Mark.

Education

Paul has a BA and MA in history from the University of California at Berkeley. Paul's  continuing education includes classes in real estate, computers and sailing.

Paul's goal is to serve each client ably, diligently and honestly. For him service and knowledge are the cornerstones of business.  Paul has vast experience in helping sellers prepare their properties for market and buyers learn the market to ensure they make good buying decisions.

Personal Background

Paul was born and raised in Oakland, California.  Paul and his wife Nellie have lived on both coasts of the United States and in Colombia and Brazil. Paul's careers include the Foreign Service of the United States, serving with the Uniterd States Information Agency in Colombia and Brazil, public relations and public affairs in New York City, and the creation of two businesses, one in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and the other in Carmel, California prior to entering real estate in 1986.

Paul and Nellie have three children and have lived on the Monterey Peninsula since 1978.
