Joni Settlemier has a long background in real estate. Her family was in property development in the Bay Area for many years, and Joni worked in the administration and property management phase of the family business during her college vacations and for several years after her graduation.
In 1978 she joined the Tiburon office of Frank Howard Allen Real Estate in Marin County. In her first year, she earned membership in their Million Dollar Club.
She moved to San Francisco in 1982 and joined Grubb and Ellis Residential Sales, where she achieved her Brokers license, and was named a Senior Marketing Consultant. In 1996, she joined the TRI/Coldwell Banker office specializing in residential and small rental buildings.
A Bay Area native, Joni received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Mills College. Upon graduation, she worked for the United Nations in New York before returning to the Bay Area where she presently resides with her husband, Grant Settlemier, in the San Francisco Marina area. They have three grown daughters.
Joni believes in listening carefully to her client's needs in order to maximize effectively her over 20 years of experience on behalf of her clients in all phases of the real estate transaction.

Joni has always been active in community. She was treasurer of The Susan G. Komen Foundation for Breast Cancer and the "Race for the Cure" for many years and currently sits on their Board of Directors. She is active with the Junior League of San Francisco and was named "Sustainer of the Year" in 1994. She is active in the St. Francis Yacht Club, heading the Women's Committee in 1995 and 1998. She has also served on the Board of The Fort Mason Foundation.
