About me
My Background
I am a third generation Santa Cruzan.
I started my career in Real Estate in 1978 and in 1985 I joined Coldwell Banker.
I earned my Brokers license in 1986 and was awarded the Graduate Realtors Institute diploma in 1990. This highly recognized award is held by only 11% of all Realtors. In 1997 I received the designation of CRS Certified Residential Specialist.
I have successfully marketed and sold hundreds of homes as well as several commercial buildings. This included the Santa Cruz Art Center and historic Trust Building, which met its demise in a tragic fire in 1994. Over the past 26 years I have represented both buyers and sellers in completing "1031 Tax Deferred Exchanges".
My Promise to You
I believe in building Customers for Life. I am here to serve you with hard work, integrity and expertise. Whether you are buying or selling a single family home, commercial property or multi-residential units, my professionalism, negotiating skills and experience will benefit you in the successful purchase or sale of your home or investment property.
Community Service
Coldwell Banker and I support local charities and believe in community involvement. The following are just some of the charities and projects we are involved in, Toys for Tots, Adopt a Family, the Aptos Fourth of July parade, Habitat for Humanity and the Big Brothers and Sisters.
I have served on several committees at the Santa Cruz Association of Realtors, including heading the membership committee for several years.
I am the 2005 Commodore of the Santa Cruz Yacht Club and have been racing sailboats since 1979.
Coldwell Banker's History
Coldwell Banker was founded in 1906, by Colbert Coldwell. He saw a need for honest, knowledgeable real estate professionals following the San Francisco earthquake. In 1913, Benjamin Banker joined the firm as a salesman, and he and Colbert Coldwell quickly discovered they held similar views & ethics. Mr. Banker became an active partner in 1914, and the two remianed active in the company throughout their lives.
Keith (Kip) Jackson bought a Coldwell Banker franchise in 1984. I joined Coldwell Banker Keith Jackson in 1986. In 1996 Kip Jackson and his good friend Dave Mann joined their offices and we became Coldwell Banker Jackson & Mann. They soon opened a much needed office in west Santa Cruz.
In September of 2004 NRT bought our three offices and we became part of the NRT family.
